About us

Welcome to Park Community Church, Shingle Springs, CA.

If you are looking for a spiritual home in a nondenominational church in this area, please come join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. Hear and worship the spoken word of God and praise His holy name and see for yourself the glory that abounds!

Children's Church is from 10am to approximately 10:45am during the sermon. There are two classes (age appropriate) plus we have a nursery for children under two years old.

We have a special fellowship and our women's ministry has a heart for reaching the lost in various ways. Our missionary work reaches third world countries by providing Bibles, supporting missionary work such as 'Operation Blessing' by supporting the digging of wells and cisterns, as well as meeting the biblical needs of those not saved.

As it states in 1 Peter 3:8; John 13:34-35; Rom 12:10-12, we at Park Community Church have a fellowship with one another like family. You can actually feel and see the spirit of God working in His house. Prayer's are answered here!

Regardless of what church you attend, we do hope your church is meeting your spiritual needs.

We now have a new Pastor; Dr. Sandy Shoemaker. For more information please visit Pastor Sandy's website.
(FYI; this will open a new page or tab so this website will remain open in your browser if you wish to return here.)

Easter Services!

Please join us on Palm Sunday, March 28th, for the Passover Seder Service presented by Chap. Jacob Cohen. The Seder is an intergenerational family ritual prescribed according to Jewish law and based on the interpretation of the Biblical verse commanding Jews to retell the story of the Exodus from Egypt: "And you shall tell it to your son on that day, saying, 'Because of this God did for me when He took me out of Egypt.'" (Exodus 13:8) Seder is a Jewish ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover.

*  *  *  *      *  *  *  *

Easter Services: April 4th
Easter is the most important annual religious feast in the liturgical year. According to scripture, Jesus was resurrected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. This resurrection establishes Jesus as the powerful son of God and is proof that God will judge the world in righteousness. God has given us "a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead". As Christians, through faith in the working of God, we are spiritually resurrected with Jesus so that we may walk in a new way of life.
Also, Easter is really an entire season, as opposed to a single-day observance. Lent, the 40-day period leading up to Easter Sunday, is a time of reflection and penance and represents the 40 days that Jesus spent alone in the wilderness before starting his ministry, a time in which He survived various temptations by the devil. The week preceding Easter is called Holy Week and includes Maundy Thursday, which commemorates Jesus' last supper with his disciples; Good Friday, which honors the day of his crucifixion; and Holy Saturday, which focuses on the transition between the crucifixion and resurrection. The 50-day period following Easter Sunday is called Eastertide and includes a celebration of Jesus' ascension into heaven.

Please join us as we humbly celebrate our savior's sacrifice for our sins in one of two services on Easter Sunday. Our first service will be at Sunrise held outside in our park after which will be followed by an Easter breakfast in the fellowship hall.
The second service shall be at our regular service time of 9:30am. Please join us if you would like to partake in this wonderful time of worship and fellowship!
