I grew up in a Christian family in Orangevale, CA and have been involved with church my entire life. At age 18, I started a career in the Fire Service helping my local communities. My lovely wife Cindy and I have a beautiful daughter, and I retired from the Fire Service as a Battalion Chief after 32 years of service. 

After I retired, God called my wife and me to a small church in the foothills of Placerville, a church with an inspirational sign on the side of the building and a beautiful family worshipping inside.  Cindy and I soon became members at Park Community Church where I served many years as a deacon. And, although I loved being a deacon, God then called me into the position of Elder. 

In my role as elder, I am the ministry director of our Missionary Program and our Men’s Ministry. I also periodically teach Bible studies on Wednesday evenings, as well as have the opportunity to preach on Sundays when needed. Glorify God, Grow in Christ, and Share the Gospel!
